Native Plant Sourcing

While the Native Plant movement is gaining a huge amount of traction many plants are unfortunately still hard to come by. We can take the headache out of sourcing native plants for you. With connections to local, family-owned growers who focus on Native Plants, including plants of Long Island Provenance, we can provide you with beautiful, resilient, Native Plants grown right here on Long Island. Garden Maintenance

Native Plants require different Maintenance Practices than exotic ornamental plants as well as lawns. They require no fertilizer, pesticides, or even irrigation once established, if properly sited. Since Native Plants are grown to support the local food-web and wildlife the "How" and "When" you maintain a Native Plant Garden matters almost as much as what plants you've chosen to grow. We take the guesswork out of maintaining your Native Garden by performing Seasonal Maintenance at the proper time of year for ensured success of fostering life.

Native Plant Garden Consultation

Don't know where to start? Are you a "Do-It-Yourselfer?" Give us a call and we can guide you from start to finish. We will discuss your goals, identify invasive species currently growing on your property, and select the best plants for your specific ecoregion with historically appropriate native plants. Virtual consultations are also available.

Mobile Native Plant Nursery

Great for garden clubs, schools, libraries, scout troops, educational outreach programs, museums, and festivals. We bring the Native Plants to you! We can do custom orders, pre-order services, or pop-up events to supply native plants direct from the grower to the public. Great fundraising opportunity as well!

Educational Lectures, Presentations, & Workshops

We offer the perfect educational group activity for garden clubs, schools, libraries, non-profits, and more. We have provided presentations and hands-on workshops to organizations throughout Long Island, including Nassau & Suffolk Cornell Cooperative Extensions, ReWild Long Island, Draw Down East End, and many more.
