We provide Presentations and Lectures to all types of organizations including gardening clubs, Cornell Extensions, public libraries, scout troops, schools, universities, non-profits, and more.

Public education and outreach are paramount to the native plant gardening movement. We believe that people cannot place value on something if they do not know its worth. Plant blindness, a disconnect from nature, and "generational amnesia" are all taking their toll as people are unable to protect what is unfamiliar to them.

We try to remedy this ailment by reconnecting the community with the natural history of the neighborhood they call home through our in-depth presentations and lectures. We aim to educate the public on the importance of the indigenous native plant communities that make up our local ecosystems and that make Long Island unique.

Our Workshops offer a hands-on educational experience that allow participants to gain new knowledge of the local landscape and the chance to bring a bit of nature home with them at the end of the program.

-Pocket Prairies

-Insectary Gardens

-Hummingbird Oases
